The Vision for a Hospital at Werkok
Partners in Compassionate Care is leading an effort to build a Christ-centered teaching hospital
in the village of Werkok in Southern Sudan. It will include a training facility to prepare Sudanese caregivers
for serving more remote locations.
The hospital will be built in multiple phases. Our approach recognizes the area's damaged infrastructure
now being rebuilt and includes contingency plans to accommodate delays and setbacks. The plan also allows
time to raise funds and recruit mission/building teams.
Interim Facility

Permanent Facility Maternity and Surgical
Expanded surgical facilities, maternity ward, and pharmacy in a permanent 50-bed facility, with housing for
hospital personnel.

Pediatrics, private and open wards, infectious diseases ward, and housing for remaining hospital staff.
