Goals Completed!
It is amazing to see what we have been able to accomplish in Werkok, Sudan in such a relatively short amount of time. God has blessed us with generous donors, amazing volunteers, and a spirit which runs deeper and longer than the Nile itself!
Hospital Building
A nearly finished 30'x100' hospital building with an operating room, labor and delivery room, central supply, 4 examination rooms, and a 16 bed ward!
Eye/Dental Clinic
A combination eye/dental clinic that is fully equipped for doing eye surgeries and dentistry!
Portable Operating Room
A 40' portable operating/recovery room we used for surgery during the construction phase!
Kitchen and Dining Hall
A new kitchen and a separate dining hall with a veranda for longing and eating our meals!
Doctor Housing
2 residences for the 2 Sudanese doctors God has blessed us with!
Volunteer Housing
5 residences for staff and volunteer housing!
Generator Building
A new building that now contains our 15 KvA generator to provide power to the compound!
Storage Facility
A storage facility for tools, supplies, and a covered area for the Caterpillar/front end loader!
Shower Facility and Retaining Pond
New latrines and shower facility and a large retaining pond that will be used for drip irrigation!
Fence
A new “farm type” fence to keep animals out around the entire hospital compound with 2 gates!
