Winter 2011| “When one suffers, we all suffer.” 1 Cor. 12:26

Our night and morning...

At 2:25 AM we had an heavy rain and win in Werkok area, an hour later 3:45 AM group of people from Kapat brought a 34 year old pregnant woman whom has been in labour for the last 2 days. We interviewed the husband and said that his wife has 7 pregnancies, 6 deliveries alive, she has been in labour for 2 days trying to deliver at home they could not make it. After long delayed they have chosen to come to the MCH Werkok too late.

On physical examination, vital signs: oxygen saturation 95%, temperature 37 grade Celsius, HR 120, RR 19, blood pressure 100/60 mmHg. Fetal heart rate was zero (non) there was not a chance of baby survival, position cephalic, cervix dilated 8cm. We put her on ringer lactate, antibiotics and monitoring. Hour and half later she delivered a dead baby (non life) as you can see there was non FHR unfortunately. That was our night and morning. We prayed with the parent and specially the mother for her quick recovery.

Blessings,

Dr. Ajak
